Clark Hill, PLC is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Associate with 2-4 years of experience for its Chicago, IL office, although well-qualified candidates in other locations with Clark Hill offices may be considered.

Job Description:
• Provide legal advice, counsel, and support to clients on a variety of cybersecurity, privacy, internet, and computer law related matters
• Develop and implement data security incident notification and breach response plans
• Maintain a working knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Assist in the development and implementation of data security policies and procedures
• Conduct research into relevant legal and industry topics
• Assist in the drafting of legal documents
• Conduct interviews and depositions
• Manage client relationships
• Liaise with outside counsel and other professionals
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• 2-4 years of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, internet, and computer law
• Technical background or general understanding of technology and electronic systems
• Data security incident notification and breach response experience
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Client management and crisis management skills
• Currently licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction

Salary: Commensurate with experience
