Job Description

The associate will work closely with the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity team to provide legal support for a variety of corporate transactions. This includes assisting with due diligence, drafting and negotiating transaction documents, and advising clients on legal matters related to mergers and acquisitions and private equity. The associate will also have the opportunity to work on complex transactions and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

The associate will have a wide range of responsibilities and will be expected to take on a significant role in the Mergers & Acquisitions/Private Equity practice. This includes working on client matters, developing and maintaining client relationships, and managing junior associates and support staff.

Requirements

- Minimum of five years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the California State Bar or eligible for admission by waiver
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and communication skills
