Duties

  • Handle commercial real estate finance transactions, including lender and borrower side transactions.
  • Provide legal counsel in leveraged transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures.
  • Draft and review complex real estate finance agreements and documents.
  • Manage client relationships and communicate directly with clients regarding case progress and strategy.
  • Work with other attorneys to ensure seamless case management and deliver optimal legal solutions.
  • Negotiate and structure financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial real estate finance, including lender and borrower-side transactions.
  • Experience in leveraged transactions, preferred equity, and joint ventures is preferred.
  • Bar admission in one or more states where the firm has an office and where the candidate desires to be resident.
  • Strong academic credentials.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex real estate transactions and client relationships.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admitted to practice law in one or more states in which the firm has an office.

Skills

  • Expertise in commercial real estate finance law.
  • Strong negotiation and drafting skills, especially in complex transactions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to communicate directly and effectively with clients.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.
