Job Title: Litigation Associate (Toxic Tort)
Salary Range: $120, - $145, Annually
Experience: 5 years or more

Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of state and federal court procedures
- Proficiency with MS Office and internet navigation

Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload involving substantial litigation defense, including toxic tort matters
- Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions
- Prepare and take depositions of parties and experts
- Review client documents and draft case evaluations and status reports
- Review, assess, and handle matters from inception to trial
- Assist with and participate in mediations and court appearances
- Interact directly with clients, claim professionals, opposing counsel, colleagues, and staff
