This role is ideal for a professional looking to deepen their exposure to high-level business disputes and work on a wide variety of matters spanning class actions, multi-jurisdictional litigation, and other complex legal proceedings. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of seasoned litigators and contribute to a growing practice representing diverse clients nationwide.

Duties:

  • Handle intricate commercial disputes from early investigation through final resolution

  • Draft and revise legal documents including motions, memoranda, pleadings, and discovery materials

  • Support class action and multi-district litigation at all stages, including certification processes

  • Participate in case strategy development and client communications

  • Engage in alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration

  • Contribute to appellate briefs and federal court filings

  • Collaborate with team members and support staff to ensure timely and strategic case progression

Requirements:

  • 3-6 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on defense-side commercial disputes

  • Prior work within mid-sized to large law firm environments is beneficial

  • Background handling class actions or cases spread across multiple jurisdictions is strongly preferred

  • Familiarity with federal litigation procedures and appellate practice

  • Demonstrated ability to manage deadlines and adapt to evolving client needs

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

  • Active Ohio Bar license in good standing or eligibility to obtain admission through reciprocity

Skills:

  • Strong research and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach to legal issues
