The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in business litigation, with a strong academic background and exceptional writing and analytical skills. Job Description:

As a Business Litigation Associate at McCarter & English, LLP, you will be responsible for handling a variety of complex business litigation matters. This may include contract disputes, corporate governance issues, intellectual property disputes, and other business-related litigation matters. You will have the opportunity to work on cases from inception to resolution, including conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, and representing clients in court. In addition, you will have the opportunity to work with experienced attorneys and gain valuable mentorship and training.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle a variety of business litigation matters, including contract disputes, corporate governance issues, and intellectual property disputes
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
- Represent clients in court and attend depositions and other hearings
- Work closely with experienced attorneys and gain valuable mentorship and training
- Collaborate with clients and provide strategic legal advice
- Conduct legal analysis and provide recommendations to clients
- Manage and prioritize a caseload effectively
- Keep up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations

Qualifications:

- 3-6 years of experience in business litigation
- Strong academic background and excellent writing and analytical skills
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
- NJ Bar Admission required, additional admission in NY is a plus
