Position Summary Shutts & Bowen's Tampa office is seeking a highly motivated Associate with 1-3 years of experience in Construction Litigation to join their team. The Associate will work closely with partners who specialize in handling construction disputes and litigation, representing contractors, subcontractors, material suppliers, sureties, design professionals, and other entities on various construction projects such as roads, bridges, airports, high-rise condominiums, hotels, and industrial complexes. This is an excellent opportunity for the candidate to work closely with a Partner who is Board Certified in Construction Law. A valid Florida Bar membership is required for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with partners to handle construction disputes and litigation cases - Represent clients in various construction projects, including roads, bridges, airports, high-rise condominiums, hotels, and industrial complexes - Work closely with a Partner who is Board Certified in Construction Law - Conduct legal research and draft legal documents - Attend court hearings and depositions - Assist with trial preparation and strategy - Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case Salary Information: The salary for this position is competitive and will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
