Duties

• Handle all aspects of family law cases from inception to resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, and legal correspondence
• Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
• Attend depositions and court conferences
• Maintain accurate case documentation and meet court deadlines
• Provide sound legal counsel to clients regarding family law matters

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law (3-5 years preferred)
• Strong litigation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Client-focused approach with strong interpersonal abilities

Education

• Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of New Jersey
