Location:
Duties:
- Provide legal counsel on various immigration matters, including work visas (H-1B, L-1, etc.), PERM labor certification, and corporate compliance
- Handle complex immigration cases, including appeals to the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA)
- Prepare and file immigration petitions and applications
- Conduct legal research to ensure compliance with current immigration laws and regulations
- Draft legal documents and provide clear and concise legal writing
- Work with clients from specialized industries such as tech, healthcare, and others
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information with professionalism and integrity
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to meet deadlines and client expectations
Requirements:
- Experience handling complex immigration cases, including appeals to the BIA
- Familiarity with business immigration, including work visas, PERM labor certification, and corporate compliance
- Previous experience in a fast-paced law firm or corporate legal environment
- Strong research, analytical, and legal writing skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate complex legal information effectively
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Active membership in the state bar
