Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated litigation associate to join our busy bankruptcy practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of the Bankruptcy Code, local rules, UCC, and secured transactions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a mix of litigation and transactional matters, take depositions, and argue motions and contested matters in court. You will also receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility and collaborate with other practice groups and offices.

Responsibilities:

- Work on a mix of litigation and transactional matters in the bankruptcy practice
- Take depositions and argue motions and contested matters in court
- Receive training opportunities with growing levels of responsibility
- Collaborate across practice groups and offices
- Work in a small office atmosphere with the resources of an Am Law 200 firm
- Have opportunities for advancement in a collegial environment
- Engage in business development activities with the potential to grow into partnership
- Work remotely two days per week

Qualifications:

- 3-6 years of experience in motions practice, contested matters, and/or adversary proceedings
- Strong research and writing skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to excel in a team environment
- Demonstrated interest in developing and implementing relationship-building skills
- Prior experiences working with diverse cultures and backgrounds
- Highly motivated and a self-starter
- Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent law school credentials and references
