Law Firm Seeks IP Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles

Law Firm is looking to hire an IP Litigation Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will have top law school credentials, IP/patent litigation experience, and preferably an undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or similar. CAFC clerkship experience and experience with PTAB disputes is a plus.

This position offers an annual compensation range of $260,000 to $390,000, depending on qualifications and other operational considerations. ## Overview of IP Litigation Attorney Position at Law Firm

Law Firm is seeking an experienced IP Litigation Attorney to join its team in Los Angeles. The successful candidate will have top law school credentials and IP/patent litigation experience. Undergraduate degrees in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or similar degrees are highly preferred, as is CAFC clerkship experience. Experience with PTAB disputes also a plus.

## Job Responsibilities

The IP Litigation Attorney will:

* Represent clients in intellectual property and patent litigation, including PTAB disputes and CAFC clerkships
* Analyze legal issues, develop case strategies, draft pleadings, and conduct discovery
* Participate in pre-trial hearings, motions, and other court proceedings
* Prepare for, attend, and participate in client meetings, depositions, and mediations
* Research and analyze complex legal issues
* Prepare and write briefs, motions, and other legal documents

## Qualifications

* Must have a JD degree from an accredited law school
* Must be admitted to the California bar or eligible to waive in
* Top credentials from a nationally or regionally recognized law school
* IP/patent litigation experience
* Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering or similar is highly preferred
* CAFC clerkship experience is a plus
* Experience with PTAB disputes is preferred

## Compensation and Benefits

The annual compensation range for this position is between $260,000 and $390,000. The salary offered within this range will depend upon qualifications and other operational considerations.
