Beeson, Tayer and Bodine, a progressive 16-Attorney law firm, is seeking an experienced associate attorney for a collections and benefits position in their Sacramento office. The firm specializes in Union-side labor and employment law, representing public and private sector Unions, educators, employee benefit plans, and individual employees. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in collection litigation and employee benefits law and must be an active member of the California Bar.

Responsibilities:
- Regular contact with benefit plans, auditors, union officials, employers, and opposing counsel
- Focus on issues related to retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and other employee benefit plans
- Handle ERISA related litigation, arbitrations, and court cases
- Plan administration background is a plus
- Dedication to the labor movement, strong writing and oral advocacy skills, attention to detail, and time management skills required

Requirements:
- JD degree from an ABA-approved law school
- Active membership with the California Bar
- 3+ years of experience in collection litigation and employee benefits law
