A law firm is seeking a Mid- to Senior Level Healthcare Associate Attorney with a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in healthcare transactional matters. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of counseling healthcare providers on various regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine, and Medicare and Medicaid billing and reimbursement issues. Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel to health care providers on regulatory matters, including fraud and abuse, state licensure, corporate practice of medicine, and billing/reimbursement issues.
  • Handle healthcare transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, and private equity deals.
  • Draft and review contractual arrangements such as management agreements, provider services agreements, and physician employment agreements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and clients from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training opportunities.
  • Demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Work in a collegial environment with opportunities for career advancement.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years of demonstrated experience in health care transactional matters.
  • Strong background in counseling healthcare providers on regulatory issues.
  • Excellent law school credentials and references.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Relevant certifications in health care law (if applicable).
