Law Firm Seeking Experienced Litigation Associate in Orlando

Foley & Lardner, a leading law firm, is currently seeking an experienced litigation associate to join our Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group in our Orlando office. We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated lawyer with 2-4 years of business litigation experience to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of our Litigation Department. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Title: Litigation Associate
Location: Orlando, Florida
Practice Area: Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution
Experience: 2-4 years

Responsibilities:
• Conduct and manage written and document discovery
• Research and draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Prepare witnesses for testimony
• Appear for status conferences
• Argue motions in both state and federal court
• Participate in settlement conferences and negotiations
• Assist with trial preparation

Requirements:
• JD from an ABA-approved law school
• Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing
• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment
• Positive attitude and exceptional work ethic
• Comfortable interacting with partners and clients
