A law firm seeks a seasoned Partnership Tax Attorney to join its Business/Corporate Practice Group in Seattle. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of experience supporting partnerships, with a strong background in tax structuring, M&A, and client guidance on state and tax matters. An . in Taxation is preferred. The firm offers a flexible work schedule, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the Seattle office and two days of remote work.
Duties
- Provide tax structuring expertise and advice on a variety of partnership-related matters.
- Guide clients through complex state and federal tax issues, offering solutions to sophisticated tax challenges.
- Support mergers and acquisitions (M&A) by providing tax-related guidance and structuring recommendations.
- Collaborate with clients and the firm's practice groups to navigate intricate transactions across different sectors.
- Conduct extensive research to support tax-related matters, leveraging exceptional research skills.
- Manage multiple responsibilities, ensuring smooth execution of tax projects and transactions.
- Participate in negotiations and court appearances related to partnership tax matters.
- Contribute to business development and client acquisition strategies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in partnership taxation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- High level of commitment to professionalism and a strong work ethic.

Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
