Position: Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Associate

Location: Chicago or other office
Salary: $220,000 - $410,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)

Job Summary:
K&L Gates, a leading global law firm, is seeking a Senior Intellectual Property Litigation Associate with six or more years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in software, computer science, electrical or mechanical areas, and experience in IP litigation with trial experience preferred. The position is available in the Chicago office or other K&L Gates offices.

Responsibilities:
- Independently conduct research, draft pleadings and motions, and manage discovery practice
- Participate in hearings, depositions, and interface directly with clients
- Work closely with experienced lawyers for active mentoring and increasing levels of responsibility and client contact
- Possess strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing high-quality client service

Requirements:
- Six or more years of experience in IP litigation with trial experience preferred
- Technical background in software, computer science, electrical or mechanical areas
- Strong academic credentials and excellent communication skills
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
