Garden City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks employment law attorney with 5+ years of experience as management counsel in all facets of New York and Federal employment laws (., wage and hour, trade secret law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, ADEA, FMLA, ADA, FLSA, and similar state laws) including counseling employers concerning the status of and developments in the law as it affects such businesses and their employees. The candidate should also have transactional experience such as the negotiation and drafting of employment agreements (including executive employment agreements), termination and severance agreements, employee handbooks and anti-discrimination policies. Should have experience providing advice and counsel to employers/management on workplace law issues. Litigation skills a plus. Expected to have meaningfully interacted with Federal and State agencies concerning claims, and the investigation of claims, filed with the New York City Human Right's Commission, New York State Division of Human Rights and the EEOC. A measurable level of portable business will be considered as part of any discussion of a remuneration package for any lateral Partner and/or Of Counsel. Must possess strong academic credentials and have excellent communication and writing skills.
