Law Firm Seeking Experienced Public Law & Litigation Attorney for Hybrid Role H1: Join Our Team as a Public Law & Litigation Attorney at a Mid-Sized Education Law Firm H2: Work on Cutting-Edge Governance Issues and Landmark Cases Are you an experienced attorney with a passion for public law and litigation? Do you want to join a dynamic team that specializes in education law? If so, Dannis Woliver Kelley (DWK) is looking for you! We are a mid-sized, women-owned law firm with a statewide practice representing school and community college districts. We are currently seeking an attorney to join our Litigation and Board Ethics, Transparency, and Accountability practice groups. H2: Locations Across California DWK has offices in San Francisco, Long Beach, San Diego, Sacramento, East Bay, and Fresno. We are open to considering candidates for any of these locations. H2: Minimum 5 Years of Experience Required To be considered for this role, you must have a minimum of five years of experience in public entity litigation. This includes experience with civil writs and governance and accountability issues, such as open meeting and public records requirements. We are looking for candidates with excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills. Flexibility, initiative, and a willingness to work on a broad variety of legal matters are also important qualities for this role. H2: Additional Qualifications Experience presenting before governing boards is preferred, and prior representation of school districts is a plus. The final salary offered will depend on various factors, including experience and education.
