Job Overview:
A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its securities litigation team in New York. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding environment for legal professionals looking to gain hands-on experience in high-stakes litigation. Location:

  • New York, NY (Hybrid schedule, three days in office per week)

Duties:

  • Conduct legal research, draft, and review litigation documents.

  • Perform privilege review and prepare privilege logs.

  • Conduct factual research related to securities litigation matters.

  • Draft discovery requests, including document requests, interrogatories, requests to admit, and deposition notices.

  • Prepare for and attend depositions, as well as analyze transcripts for relevant testimony.

  • Assist with trial preparation and attend court proceedings.

  • Prepare for mediation sessions and settlement negotiations.

  • Draft complaints, motions, and legal briefs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of relevant experience in securities litigation (Class of 2021 or earlier).

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with legal professionals at all levels.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills:

  • Expertise in legal research and drafting.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Proficiency in case strategy development.

  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Familiarity with securities laws and litigation procedures.
