A prestigious law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its securities litigation team in New York. Location:
New York, NY (Hybrid schedule, three days in office per week)
Duties:
Conduct legal research, draft, and review litigation documents.
Perform privilege review and prepare privilege logs.
Conduct factual research related to securities litigation matters.
Draft discovery requests, including document requests, interrogatories, requests to admit, and deposition notices.
Prepare for and attend depositions, as well as analyze transcripts for relevant testimony.
Assist with trial preparation and attend court proceedings.
Prepare for mediation sessions and settlement negotiations.
Draft complaints, motions, and legal briefs.
Requirements:
Minimum of two years of relevant experience in securities litigation (Class of 2021 or earlier).
Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with legal professionals at all levels.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Education:
Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited . law school.
Certifications:
Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.
Skills:
Expertise in legal research and drafting.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in case strategy development.
Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with securities laws and litigation procedures.
