Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of legal duties for the firm
- Responsible for the analysis, management, and resolution of lien cases
- Work closely with attorneys to ensure efficient and cost-effective resolution of liens
- Negotiate liens within appropriate financial authority and in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Review records, summarize for attorneys, and respond to Petition for Costs
- Travel in person to attend lien trials and court appearances

Qualifications:
- Five or more years of workers' compensation claim litigation experience
- In-depth knowledge of California Workers’ Compensation laws
- Must maintain a current paralegal certificate and complete regular ongoing professional training
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university preferred
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpretive skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software applications
- Knowledge of EAMS searches, official medical fee schedule, and WCAB rules and procedures

Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000
