**Job Description:**

- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on complex intellectual property and life science matters
- Research and analyze novel legal issues in the life sciences and intellectual property fields
- Draft patent applications, legal memoranda, and other legal documents
- Negotiate and draft contracts related to intellectual property and life sciences matters
- Participate in development of strategies for clients
- Provide client counseling and regulatory advice

**Qualifications:**

- Undergraduate or graduate life science degree (biological, chemical, or structural biology)
- Substantial course work or work experience involving computational biology, statistics or advanced mathematics
- Ability to read and understand computer source code in one or more programming languages such as Python
- Excellent academic credentials
- Strong research, writing, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Massachusetts bar membership
