Duties:

  • Conduct patent prosecution, including preparing and filing patent applications, responses to office actions, and appeals.
  • Analyze and interpret complex technological and engineering concepts to ensure accurate patent filings.
  • Provide technical support and expertise in patent matters to attorneys and clients.
  • Perform patent searches and prepare opinions on patentability, freedom to operate, and infringement.
  • Collaborate with inventors and technical experts to draft and review patent applications.
  • Stay current with patent law and technology developments to ensure the firm’s practices remain current.
  • Assist in the development of patent strategies and portfolio management.

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Background in wireless engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong academic credentials with a demonstrated ability to handle complex technical material.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with cellular networking technologies is strongly preferred.

Education:
