Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in all aspects of patent and trademark litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and appearing in court
• Work closely with other attorneys and staff to develop case strategies and effectively communicate with clients
• Conduct legal research and draft legal documents
• Attend depositions, hearings, and trials as necessary
• Manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
• Participate in business development and marketing activities
• Mentor and supervise junior associates and support staff

Qualifications:

• 8-12 years of patent and trademark litigation and dispute resolution experience in a law firm setting
• Admission to the Patent Bar is strongly preferred
• Engineering or computer science degree or significant experience litigating patents in these technology areas
• Excellent litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and appearing in court
• Strong research and writing skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple cases and deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Florida Bar membership or in the process of becoming a member
• Portable business is required

Salary Information:
