Duties:

  • Handle significant appellate matters, including cases before the . Supreme Court and various appellate courts.
  • Work closely with a team of experienced attorneys on critical cases, focusing on motions and issue preservation at the trial level.
  • Conduct extensive legal research, write persuasive briefs, and participate in oral arguments.
  • Collaborate with attorneys to develop and execute strategic litigation approaches.
  • Maintain a proactive, client-focused attitude and a commitment to legal excellence.

Requirements:

  • A completed Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Experience as a judicial clerk, preferably at a federal or state appellate court.
  • Excellent academic credentials.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills.

Education:

  • JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Active member of the State Bar of California in good standing, or eligibility to practice law in California.
