## Tax Associate

Law Firm is looking for a mid-level tax associate with 3-6 years of experience to join its Tax practice in Atlanta, New York City, or Washington . This is an excellent opportunity to work on a variety of complex tax matters and help grow the team.

### Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

- Working on a variety of complex transactional tax matters, including real estate funds/JVs, Private Equity and Strategic M&A, finance and restructuring work, and tax controversy work
- Structuring of inbound foreign investment, and REIT and real estate finance experience
- Providing timely advice and counsel to clients
- Drafting and negotiating agreements
- Developing and maintaining client relationships
- Assisting in the development of new business

### Qualifications

- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the bar in one of the following states: Georgia, New York, or Washington DC
- 3-6 years of experience in transactional tax
- Excellent client management skills
- Superior academic credentials
- Previous large law firm experience

### Salary

The salary range for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience.
