Job Summary:

- Responsible for providing legal advice and recommendations for initiatives and projects at Elevance Health.

- Must reside within 50 miles of an Elevance Health location and be willing to work at the office at least once a week.

- COVID-19 vaccination required for certain patient/member-facing roles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work with Executive Leadership and Government Relations.

Qualifications:

- JD and current license to practice law.

- Minimum of 9 years of industry and/or technical legal experience.

- Experience managing outside counsel preferred.

- Experience in the commercial and individual market desired.

- Familiarity with the Affordable Care Act and network adequacy desired.

- Strong business acumen and knowledge of the company's goals and objectives.

- Ability to manage complex legal problems and advise on technical and tactical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as a team player.

- Must reside within 50 miles of an Elevance Health location and be willing to work at the office at least once a week.
