Overview: The Senior Litigation Counsel, Enforcement will have the opportunity to represent FINRA in complex disciplinary proceedings and appeals before the National Adjudicatory Council. This position requires a strong understanding of federal securities laws, as well as excellent litigation, oral and written communication skills. The Senior Litigation Counsel will also provide guidance to other departments within FINRA on various legal issues.

Responsibilities:

- Represent FINRA in complex disciplinary proceedings and appeals before the National Adjudicatory Council
- Draft legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
- Conduct and coach staff in witness preparation and examination
- Conduct legal research and prepare advocacy documents
- Negotiate settlements with respondents and their attorneys
- Provide guidance and advice to other departments within FINRA on legal issues
- Collaborate with other departments within FINRA as needed

Requirements:

- Law degree and admission to the bar
- Minimum of 10 years of litigation experience
- Strong understanding of federal securities laws
- Excellent litigation, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to work outside of business hours and travel overnight
