Beveridge & Diamond, . Regulatory (TSCA) Associate Beveridge & Diamond, . is seeking a chemical regulatory associate with two to four years of experience to join its Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate should have significant Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) expertise, a clear interest in environmental law, a strong academic background, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Qualifications: - . from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. - Status as an active member in good standing of the bar in at least one state jurisdiction and the ability to obtain licensure in the District of Columbia within 6 months of hire. - Demonstrated experience with TSCA. - Additional experience with state laws regulating the use of chemicals in products is a plus. - Supplementary experience with drafting persuasive public comments or with administrative record. - Strong analytical, research, writing, and oral communication skills. - Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to work well under deadlines, and the ability to assume significant client responsibilities. - Creative thinking and problem-solving skills. - College degree in chemistry or physical science/environmental studies is a plus. Compensation In accordance with the laws of the jurisdictions in which this position may be filled, the base salary range for this position is $190,000- $220,000 annually depending on qualifications and experience. The compensation for this position may also include a discretionary annual bonus and an hours-based bonus.
