The Law Firm of Shumaker is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our team in Tampa. Responsibilities:

Handle all types of litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and representing clients in court
Provide counsel to community associations on a range of issues, including drafting and amending governing documents and handling disputes
Conduct legal research and writing, utilizing online services, databases, and the internet
Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys and support staff
Manage and prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of Florida
2+ years' experience in litigation law practice
Strong technological skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and practice management systems
Excellent research and writing skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong organizational and project management skills
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

Physical Requirements:

Ability to sit for extended periods of time
Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 20 pounds
Bending and stooping for short periods of time
