Job Description: - As a Senior Paralegal in our Estate Planning department, you will work closely with attorneys to draft important documents such as Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Advance Directives. - You will also assist in all stages of probate and trust administration, utilizing your knowledge and experience to effectively communicate with clients and track the progress of their files. - Client relationship management skills are a plus, as we prioritize our clients' needs and experience above all else. - This is a non-exempt, full-time position with a 40-hour work week. Requirements: - At least five years of practical experience supporting attorneys in estate planning in Oregon, with experience in Washington being a plus. - Proficiency in drafting wills, powers of attorney, and advance directives, as well as assisting in probate and trust administration. - Strong knowledge of estate planning processes and terminology. - Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Acrobat, and cloud-based document and case management software. - Excellent communication and public relations skills, both verbal and written. - Ability to work in a team environment, stay organized, and ask clarifying questions when necessary. - High attention to detail and ability to shift priorities quickly. - Physical ability to sit for long periods of time, walk to different locations within the building, and lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
