Job Overview: A law firm in Cherry Hill, NJ, is seeking a Mid to Senior-Level Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in corporate governance and/or securities litigation. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in derivative litigation, shareholder disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other corporate litigation issues, as well as a solid understanding of securities laws. Background or knowledge in regulatory or criminal enforcement organizations such as the SEC, CFTC, DOJ, USAO, District Attorney, or OAG is advantageous. The successful candidate should exhibit strong advocacy skills, stellar academics, superior research and writing abilities, entrepreneurial drive, initiative, and the ability to inspire confidence.

Duties:

• Handle a diverse caseload of complex litigation matters related to corporate governance and securities litigation.
• Conducted legal research and drafted pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Assist with all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, preparing witnesses, and conducting depositions.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and client communication.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on litigation matters.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the New Jersey Bar Association.
• 4-6 years of experience practicing law, focusing on corporate governance and/or securities litigation.
• Proven track record of handling complex litigation matters independently.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving successful outcomes for clients.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the New Jersey Bar Association.
