Job Description:

The eDiscovery Attorney at Jackson Lewis will work closely with teams throughout the firm to guide and advise on eDiscovery and Information Governance issues. Reporting directly to the Chief Data Officer, the eDiscovery Attorney will be responsible for managing eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations and investigations. Other responsibilities include utilizing eDiscovery review platforms, advising legal and compliance stakeholders, identifying and escalating improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures, and serving as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics.

Responsibilities:

- Manage eDiscovery in a portfolio of complex and global litigations & investigations
- Utilize eDiscovery review platforms including Relativity, Recommind, and other analytics tools
- Advise legal, compliance, and group investigation stakeholders on eDiscovery issues & strategies
- Work with eDiscovery processes and current & evolving eDiscovery technologies
- Identify and escalate improvements to eDiscovery policies and procedures
- Serve as a subject matter expert on eDiscovery topics
- Implement custom workflows to reduce client costs and enhance speed-to-evidence
- Create and refine standard documentation, including ESI protocols, review protocols, and training guides

Requirements:

- Admission to the Bar (any state)
- Strong understanding of current eDiscovery law and jurisprudence
- Demonstrated understanding of eDiscovery practices and related disciplines
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and achieve goals
- Proactive in identifying continuous improvements in policies and processes

Salary Information:

- Colorado: Expected salary range between $120,000 and $150,000
- New York Metropolitan area: Expected salary range between $120,000 and $155,000
- Massachusetts: Expected salary range between $135,000 and $155,000
