Job Overview:
A well-established law firm, located in Garden City, NY, is seeking an experienced Complex Litigation Associate Attorney to join its growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, particularly in the areas of complex business litigation, fraud, and RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) cases. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Duties:

• Manage complex litigation matters, including RICO and fraud cases
• Conduct thorough investigations and oversee discovery processes
• Draft legal documents, such as motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda
• Perform extensive legal research to support case strategies
• Assist in trial preparation and support senior attorneys during trial proceedings
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and experts
• Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple cases simultaneously
• Manage case timelines, ensuring all deadlines are met

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures
• Experience handling complex business litigation or RICO matters is a plus
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Licensed to practice law in New York

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• New York Bar License (Required)
