Law Firm Seeking Associate Attorney with Experience in Medicare Compliance

We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney with 1-4 years of experience to join our Medicare Compliance group within our Worker’s Compensation Department in Scranton, PA.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

As an Associate Attorney with our firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including:

- Consulting with employers, adjusters, and attorneys on Medicare issues related to workers' compensation cases and defense litigation.
- Educating clients on proper handling of Medicare set-asides.
- Providing guidance to our attorneys on best practices and strategies for achieving desired case resolutions, including the use of structured settlements.
- Performing conditional payment searches.
- Preparing Medicare submissions for set-aside approval.
- Drafting Medicare language for settlement documents.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate for this position will have 1-4 years of experience in Medicare Compliance and possess strong analytical, writing, and communication skills. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
