Environmental Regulatory Associate
The candidate will support clients on an array of issues such as: market access; product development and premarket approval; responsible sourcing, supply chain, and transactional support; other ESG advice; chemical and materials restrictions; labeling, energy efficiency, marketing and advertising; product safety; hazmat transport; reverse distribution; and circular economy issues, including product stewardship and recycling, and waste. Position will have a primary focus on product regulatory work, including environmental, extended producer responsibility, and technical/product conformity regulatory and compliance matters in the United States and globally.

Qualification and Experience The candidate must be a product stewardship associate with 3-5 years of experience. Relevant experience would include an exposure to these areas as well as work with regulatory federal agencies such as EPA, USDA, CPSC, DOT, FAA, DOE, FTC and similar state entities. Experience with FCC equipment authorization or FDA product regulatory domains for electronic devices is also highly useful. International work experience would also be relevant. Should have a J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials. Status as an active member in good standing of the Bar in at least one state jurisdiction, or the ability to obtain licensure in the relevant state within 6 months of hire is required.
