Law Firm Seeks Labor and Employment Associate for Workplace Class Action Practice
Duane Morris LLP, a top law firm with offices on the East Coast, is seeking a highly motivated mid-level associate to join its Employment, Labor, Benefits and Immigration practice group. This exciting opportunity involves supporting the firm's workplace class action practice and requires a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in complex employment litigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on defending wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits and will be skilled in conducting witness interviews and depositions. Trial experience is preferred, and experience counseling employers on employment law compliance and drafting workplace policies is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Support the firm's workplace class action practice
- Defend wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits
- Conduct witness interviews and defend depositions
- Provide counsel to employers on federal and state employment law compliance
- Draft workplace policies
- Assist clients with employment training programs
Requirements:
- 4-6 years of experience in complex employment litigation
- Strong focus on defending wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits
- Trial experience preferred
