Responsibilities:

- Handle cases independently from start to finish, including felony jury trials
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients
- Develop legal strategies and provide counsel to clients
- Conduct legal research and writing
- Make regular court appearances
- Collaborate with other team members

Qualifications:

- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active and in good standing with the State Bar of Texas
- Minimum of 5 years of experience focused on criminal defense cases
- Ability to manage a full caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of court rules and procedures
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to promote yourself as an attorney to clients
- Organizational and time management skills
