Law Firm Seeking Experienced Patent Specialist for Multiple Locations

Lathrop GPM LLP, a top-ranked law firm with offices across the United States, is currently hiring for an Experienced Patent Specialist with . filing experience. This role offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, as well as a professional and challenging work environment.

Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned client portfolios and handle all filings and correspondence for . patent prosecution
- Prepare and file . Provisional filings and all necessary formality documents
- Submit all prosecution documents to the USPTO and handle non-substantive documents
- Communicate directly with clients regarding patent prosecution events
- Maintain electronic data related to clients' intellectual property in accordance with firm policies
- Keep track of all client filing deadlines and send reminders to attorneys and technical specialists
- Work independently and as part of a team to meet client needs
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of all phases of the . patent process
- Proficiency in Private PAIR, EFS-Web, and Patent Center
- Relevant experience in an IP practice or equivalent education and experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred, paralegal certificate desired
- Excellent technology, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work outside of scheduled hours as needed to support multiple time zones
