Position Summary:
Join our dynamic team as an Associate Attorney and assist our senior attorneys in providing top-notch legal counsel to our clients. This role involves conducting legal research, drafting documents and pleadings, communicating with clients and experts, and preparing for trials and depositions. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for civil litigation and insurance defense.

Location & Commitments:

Practice Area / Department: Civil Litigation / Insurance Defense
Status: Full-Time / Exempt
Work Schedule: Flexible
Work Location: Jacksonville, FL or Fully Remote in Florida


Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and prepare legal documents for contract negotiations and proceedings.
Represent clients in court and depositions as needed.
Communicate with clients, senior attorneys, and paralegals to ensure efficient handling of cases.
Analyze conflicts and provide solutions for legal matters.
Maintain client files and ensure up-to-date information is available.
Collaborate with others and work independently to meet billing goals.


Requirements & Competencies:

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
Must be a member of the Florida Bar.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team.
Meet expectations for billing goals.


Work Environment:
As an Associate Attorney, you will primarily work in a comfortable office environment. However, you must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time and think strategically to perform your duties effectively.
