Responsibilities:

Representing borrowers, lenders, private equity sponsors, and/or agents in a variety of finance transactions, including domestic and cross-border acquisitions, dividend and other recapitalizations, and restructuring and reorganizations
Exposure to middle market lending and alternative financiers, such as BDCs, hedge funds, and non-bank lenders is preferred
Serving as a key member of deal teams and taking the lead on key aspects of transactions, from due diligence to closing
Utilizing strong drafting and negotiating skills to manage documentation and mentor junior associates
Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment while meeting high expectations for quality

Qualifications:

3-6 years of experience in leveraged finance with a focus on representing borrowers, lenders, private equity sponsors, and/or agents
Strong academic credentials and prior experience at a top law firm is preferred
Exposure to middle market lending and alternative financiers is a plus
Ability to take on a leadership role in deal teams and manage junior associates
Exceptional drafting and negotiating skills
Thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
