Summary:

The law firm Ogletree Deakins is seeking an experienced Marketing Counsel to join their expanding Client Services department. This full-time position will be responsible for monitoring key labor and employment law developments and creating content for firm products and publications. The successful candidate must reside in a state where the firm has a physical office, but the position may be remote. The position offers a competitive salary range of $99,400 to $165,600, depending on experience and location.

Position Summary:

The Marketing Counsel will work closely with the Senior Marketing Counsel and report to the Director of Content. They will be responsible for writing articles for the firm's website and other publications, tracking developments and trends in labor and employment law, and developing content for the firm's blog and other marketing materials. The Marketing Counsel will also collaborate with firm practice and industry groups to support internal and external marketing efforts and attend events as needed.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, candidates must have a law degree from an accredited institution and at least three years of relevant experience. A background in marketing, journalism, literature, or communications is a plus. The ideal candidate will have exceptional writing and communication skills, knowledge of style manuals, and previous editorial or authorship experience. Knowledge of labor and employment law is also preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and experience with artificial intelligence tools is required, and experience with SmartSheet is a plus.
