Litigation Legal Assistant - Job Summary: - Seeking a self-motivated and friendly litigation legal assistant at the law firm of Gleaves Swearingen LLP. - Responsible for drafting pleadings, motions and appellate documents, filing them with the court, and performing administrative duties. - Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes, organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs and appendices. - Assisting attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests, and gathering relevant information from various sources. - Requirements include strong communication and organizational skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff. - Knowledge and experience with litigation pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and court rules, procedures and practices is preferred but not required. - Salary range of $51,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience. - Interested candidates should send their cover letter and resume to Candace Chadwick at .
