CACI is actively seeking a motivated Paralegal to join their team and support the Department of Justice's mission. The Paralegal position is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual looking to grow within CACI.

Qualifications:

- Paralegal Certificate, JD, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least one year of study
- At least one year of litigation paralegal experience

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

- Trial experience
- Automated litigation support experience
- Extensive computer and database expertise

What You’ll Get to Do:

- Work collaboratively with teams of DOJ attorneys to handle a wide variety of litigation support tasks
- Prepare and file documents with courts
- Organize, track and archive legal documents
- Redact and protect privilege information
- Conduct factual and legal research
- Assist in witness interviews, depositions and trial preparation
- Prepare binders, index discovery, and prepare evidentiary exhibits
- Provide in-court room assistance
- Compile, prepare, and summarize relevant materials for use by attorneys
- Summarize depositions and other transcripts
- Maintain case files
- Perform simple legal research
- Index, track and control document discovery
- Index, track and exhibits and other materials
- Prepare exhibit cross-references
- Compile documents for FOIA, production requests, Congressional inquiries, etc.
