Latham & Watkins, a leading global law firm, is seeking a highly qualified associate with a minimum of 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and securities litigation to join their Litigation Department. This position is open to candidates who have completed their 3rd to 5th year of practice and are looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities:

- Work with a team of experienced attorneys on complex commercial and securities litigation cases
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and memoranda
- Participate in all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and trial
- Communicate with clients and opposing counsel

Qualifications:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in complex commercial litigation and securities litigation
- Strong academic credentials and excellent writing and analytical skills
- Admitted to practice in California (for San Francisco and Silicon Valley positions) or Illinois (for Chicago position)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
