# Wage and Hour Class Action Associate at Ogletree Deakins Ogletree Deakins is one of the largest labor and employment law firms representing management in all types of employment-related legal matters, and is currently hiring a Wage and Hour Class Action attorney to join the firm’s expanding practice. This position can be based out of any of our California offices and offers an opportunity to work from home occasionally. We are looking for a confident, self-motivated professional with a desire to build a comprehensive employment practice in a collegial environment. ## Job Responsibilities The Wage and Hour Class Action attorney will have the following responsibilities: * Draft motions and pleadings * Attend court conferences * Handle discovery-related activities and investigations * Draft position statements, dispositive motions, employee handbooks, policies * Perform legal research ## Requirements To be considered for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements: * Juris Doctor * Must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of California * 4 or more years of Wage and Hour Class Action experience in California * Excellent analytical and writing skills ## Benefits In accordance with California’s amended labor code as stated in Senate Bill 1162, the expected salary range for this California position is between $160,000 and $235,000.
