Duties:

• Manage a criminal defense caseload, including handling cases from initial intake through resolution.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and negotiations.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on criminal defense matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare detailed memoranda, reports, and case strategies.
• Engage with clients, witnesses, and experts to gather evidence and build cases.
• Handle family and immigration law matters if interested or experienced, in addition to criminal defense cases.
• Stay informed about developments in criminal defense law and related legal areas.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar.
• Experience or strong interest in criminal defense law.
• Passion for criminal defense and commitment to client advocacy.
• Experience or interest in family and immigration matters is a plus.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Wisconsin State Bar.
