Job Summary:

As a Litigation Docketing Specialist at Faegre Drinker, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of docket department duties and utilization of computerized docket system. This includes reviewing, analyzing, and processing incoming notifications from courts, administrative agencies, clients, and counsel. You will also be responsible for preparing and distributing daily, weekly, and monthly docket reports, responding to inquiries from attorneys and legal assistants, and conducting docket orientation and training for new staff.

Responsibilities:

- Review, analyze, and process incoming notifications from courts, administrative agencies, clients, and counsel
- Review docketing information in CourtAlert software to ensure accuracy and assess deadlines
- Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly docket reports
- Respond to inquiries from attorneys, paralegals, and legal assistants
- Conduct docket orientation and training for new staff
- Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certificate
- Minimum of 4 years of law firm docketing experience or 2 years of experience at a law firm
- Extensive knowledge of and experience working with docketing software
- Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local rules
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to a changing work environment
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Willingness to work regular hours and maintain regular attendance
