Job Overview: A leading law firm is seeking a mid to senior-level International Employment Counseling Associate with 3+ years of experience. The role involves providing cross-border and global employment legal counsel, advising on corporate transactions, drafting and negotiating employment agreements, and handling employee terminations. The associate will work closely with other offices in a global employment practice and offer guidance to emerging companies on employment law matters.

Duties:
Conduct employment diligence and advise on employment-related aspects of corporate transactions.
Draft and negotiate employment, retention, and related agreements.
Counsel on reductions in force, employee terminations, and mobility.
Draft restrictive covenants and provide legal guidance on employee mobility.
Provide employment law advice to emerging companies.
Collaborate with a global network of employment law professionals.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of employment counseling experience (domestic and/or international).
Previous experience at an AmLaw 100 law firm is preferred.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business judgment skills.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a nationally recognized law school.
Certifications:
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
Skills:
Excellent research and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and management skills.
Ability to influence and engage others effectively.
Strong conceptual thinking and persuasive communication skills.
