Our lawyers and legislative advisors serve domestic and international clients in all areas of corporate and business law, complex litigation, intellectual property, regulatory matters, and government affairs. We are currently looking for a Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join our team. Salary Information The salary for this position will be competitive and commensurate with experience. Responsibilities As a Commercial Litigation Paralegal, you will be responsible for: Providing support for attorneys and paralegals on case teams in the preparation, filing, and service of papers for use in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trial; Organizing and maintaining the gathering, tracking, and production of documents to be reviewed and produced in cases, using the firm’s databases, and organizing and tracking incoming document productions; Organizing and maintaining the pleadings, discovery materials, and other files in cases; Performing manual and electronic searches for documents for use in court proceedings and assembling documents needed for use in court proceedings; Performing other tasks within software programs, such as iManage, Outlook, Microsoft Suite, TextMap, Relativity, Westlaw, and Lexis; Coordinating outside vendor services for cases; Other duties as may be assigned by attorneys and senior paralegals; and Willing to work in office. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree required; Effective interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills to work on case teams; Excellent discipline and organizational, planning, analytical, and troubleshooting skills; Ability to multitask and successfully manage a variety of demands daily from a variety of sources; Strong attention to detail; Ability to work a project independently and shows initiative in asking questions when needed; Fundamental proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat; Ability to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentiality; Experience with document review platforms, such as Relativity, is a plus; Paralegal Certificate or paralegal courses are a plus; Trial preparation and trial support experience is a plus; and Committed to work outside of normal business hours and travel as needed, which may be extensive and include weekends or holidays.
