H2: Job Description

- Maintain caseload involving direct representation of individuals before the Executive Office of Immigration Review
- Assist clients in navigating social service systems during immigration proceedings
- Prepare immigration forms and application packets
- File in various courts and agencies
- Participate in administrative team meetings and immigration advocacy efforts

H2: Required Qualifications

- 2-4 years of experience as an immigration paralegal or legal assistant
- Experience in social service navigation and connection
- Strong writing skills
- Knowledge of social service resources at the state and local level
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Ability to manage workload independently and adapt to changing community needs
- Commitment to immigrant rights movement and understanding of political and historical context of migration

- Experience working with low-income immigrant communities
- Knowledge of asylum, SIJS, and U Visa processes and current immigration laws
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience working with clients in removal proceedings
- Ability to work collaboratively and proficient in basic PC applications
